Sun Baked Pastry Shop and Terri's Sweet Treats will be working together on their newest launch where owner Heinz Luesse and Terri Treiber combined culinary talents in June 2016. These two have a wealth of combined experience in traditional bakery selections for breakfast, home style lunch sides, sweet potato pie, peach and berry cobblers, cakes and cupcakes. "We have a very talented and very motivated crew here, and everybody is super interested in food," explains Luesse, who recently brought on board intern Tim Nabers to assist from the Arizona Culinary Institute.

An expanded natural ingredients breakfast and lunch menu – Whether it’s all-natural eggs with freshly baked sticky bun, or a warm bowl of oatmeal topped with fresh fruit and cinnamon crunch, there are a lot of great-tasting reasons to love mornings at Sun Baked Pastry Shop. The collaboration creates an expanded breakfast and lunch selections beyond the traditional bakery items. Now visitors can enjoy breakfast burritos, vegetarian or meat quiches. The refreshing lunch sandwich specials can add a variety of home style sides -- baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad and a slice of delicious pie!
Customers can order - A specifically designed cake for a special event or celebration. Whether for birthdays, anniversary's, functions or simply to enjoy a little slice, their cakes provide the perfect finish. "The treats are the freshest and decadent hand made cakes." Says Treiber.

The new launch will still feature bakery favorites, neighbors can look forward to breakfast at the Sun Baked Pastry Shop as a social affair where guests can use the seats and tables to enjoy a selection of coffee or teas, juices, fresh fruit, cereals, crunchy granola, freshly-baked muffins, breads or coffee cake. There is the expanded lunch service along with new complementary items to come. Luesse said all the food will be made from scratch, “I wanted to serve locally sourced food that is as organic as possible, so I can feed people like I’m feeding my family.”
