Meridian has played host to hundreds of weddings since its inception and can accommodate anything from large, multi-day celebrations to small, intimate gatherings for close family and friends. The center's event planning team can assist you in realizing your vision and customize the décor to reflect your tastes and cultural references.
The Valencia Ballroom is a popular choice for Middle Eastern wedding parties. With a generous 6,500 square feet of floor space, capable of hosting between 150 and 180 guests in a banquet-style seating arrangement, this room provides an ideal backdrop for sizable gatherings. Polished ceramic flooring is complemented by seven chandeliers on the ceiling with a further fixture in the entranceway.
This is augmented by dimmable LED lighting and you can also rent extra decorative fixtures from the center. A stage area measuring 16 x 9 feet gives adequate scope for your head table or entertainment acts, speeches, or signage.
The Valencia has its own prep kitchen – complete with a microwave and fridge-freezer. Meridian can provide a list of recommended vendors or accommodate your own choice of providers. A dressing room gives you a private space to change and a dedicated restroom ensures comfort breaks are easily accessible for all your guests.
There is a separate load-in entrance to facilitate easy access for catering teams and entertainers without disturbing guests. A projection screen is available for use and you can also hire tables, chairs, and linens from the Meridian collection.
