The Secret to Successful Business Growth

The Mistake Business Leaders Make When Seeking To Grow

I'm Dr. Tracy Thomas, the world’s first Emotional Scientist©, renowned psychologist, and Wall Street Journal best-selling author of The Commitments: A Step-by-Step Guide to Personal Transformation, here to share the mistake that most business leaders make when attempting to motivate their employees toward company growth: they focus on peoples’ skills, and not their intentions.

There’s a lot of emphasis on an employee’s job qualifications and experience. But when it comes to successfully building a company, even the most qualified employee isn’t going to be helpful if they don’t share in the business’ desire to grow. On teams, everyone going towards the same intentions is that much more important than their skills.

For example, if you have acquired a new company, you’ll need the employees of both former companies to have the desire to come together to form one business. Being clear about this will help everyone get on board with the change. Intentions keep everyone moving in the same direction. If an employee doesn’t want to merge or wants their job to stay just as it was before, they aren’t sharing the intention, which will make the process harder.

Overcoming these limiting patterns is a key part of the work at Dr. Tracy Inc., and why my intentional training© program is so effective. Me and my team routinely work with influential, high-impact individuals to help them and their teams replace ideas that are standing in the way of greater success.

You can learn more about it at drtracyinc.com where you can book a free consultation to assess your intentional capacity compared to what you'd like it to be, allowing you to get a highly valuable assessment of what it takes for you to become your most intentional self, putting distracting and impacting reactivity in the rear view mirror, and making focus, creativity, productivity and prosperity a way of existing for life.

Much more on how to live intentionally can also be found in my best-selling books: The Method, https://www.drtracyinc.com/the-method/, and The Commitments, which is an Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Wall St. Journal bestseller. https://www.drtracyinc.com/the-commitments
