Dr. Luis A. Murrain Jr., M.D., D.O., FACMG, FACOG has joined The World Egg Bank (TWEB) as Medical Director. In this role, Dr. Murrain is responsible for all egg donor monitoring and retrievals ensuring TWEB’s proven quality and outcomes, and extraordinary egg donor care.
Dr. Murrain has been helping men and women realize their dream of building a family using 24-chromosome genetics testing of infertility and treatment for over a decade. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2002, he completed his internship at Genesys Regional Medical Center. His Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Summa Health Systems, Akron City Hospital was completed in 2006. After serving as Chief Resident, he received additional training by completing a fellowship in Reproductive Genetics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York and received extensive training in the genetics of infertility and became board-certified. He has also received training in In-Vitro Fertilization, Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection and Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis. In 2008, Dr. Murrain joined the GYFT Clinic, a fertility clinic in Tacoma, WA and later became the medical director. In 2013, Dr. Murrain opened his first clinic, Genetics & Fertility Centers in Vancouver, WA.
