Now you can create and edit an unlimited amount of alerts per calendar event for most calendar types supported by iOS. This is in contrast to the native iOS Calendar app, which permits a maximum of two alerts per event. You can also set alerts for almost any custom time period before an event, unlike the native app which restricts you to a small list of preselected time periods.
With CalendarAlerts+, you can customize alerts for virtually any number of days, hours or minutes before the start time of your calendar event and can override the default start time for all-day events. There's also the option to send alerts after an event has started for supported calendar types, plus you get support for displaying multiple calendars at once.
You can add alerts to specific calendar events by clicking the + icon in the top right of the event details page. To remove, you just have to swipe right to left on an alert before clicking on the trash icon.
A spokesperson explains, “CalendarAlerts+ syncs with the calendar events from the built-in iOS Calendar app and presents the events in a traditional calendar view or a searchable list view. In calendar view, your calendar displays in month view while in portrait mode and shifts to week view when in landscape mode.”
