Yep, better facials for men – and no, it’s not the kind of facials you’re thinking about, you naughty you!

This Seattle Premier Beauty Spa Pampers Men With Dermaplaning For Better Facials

Facial treatments are no longer for women only - and yes, this is 2023 and you don't live under a misogynistic rock so you already know this, of course.

So why aren't you getting one?

That's what my wife told me - and she pointed me to Penelope and the Beauty Bar , a premium spa in Downtown Seattle. They're offering dermaplaning to make your skin smoother and better looking (but no less manly, if that's what you're worried about).

I told her no thanks - but she hit me with the stats. More and more men are turning to beauty treatments following the pandemic.

Get this: more than one in five men are considering professional beauty services, and over 40% of Gen Z men state that they’d love to be gifted a spa day.

Heck, I'm more of a massage guy - but I definitely wouldn't say no to anything that could shave off a couple of wrinkles and hopefully make me look 20 again...

(scratch that - that's still pimple area for me... let's make it 30).

Not convinced yet? No worries, neither am I.

But I sure am about to be!

One of the most effective modern skincare procedures, dermaplaning can help men smooth facial lines and improve overall skin appearance, says the spa (and my wife agrees).

This is pretty advanced stuff, so it's performed by a licensed aesthetician using medical instruments to remove layers of dead skin and minor facial imperfections. Yep - if you thought you could probably DIY this facial just like you DIY your clogged kitchen sink, you might want to think again. This is best left for the pros - as is your sink, probably.

Once the dermaplaning is done, the aesthetician will apply antioxidant serums, hydrating creams, and sunblock protection to make sure your newly exposed skin is protected (yep, newly exposed skin - it sounds bad, but it's pretty painless... and you're a man - what's a little pain, anyways, right?).

The end result is fresher, more radiant skin, with your overall complexion both improved and more receptive to daily skin cleaning and additional treatments... if you're into that kind of thing.

Don't know about you but I'm about to give this dermaplaning thing a try, be a good boy and listen to my wife.

I mean the last beauty tip she gave me was to use a wrinkle cream daily, and it worked - I'm full of wrinkles now!
