When asked about the reasons behind creating this event, the host of the event, Cipher said:
"Historically, the music scene in DFW hasn't been very good at supporting independent artists. We haven't had a great system for indie artists to grow a fan base and take their career to the next level. It's time we change that."
A portion of the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Save the Children Foundation, one of Cipher's favorite charities, whose mission is to protect children from the physical and emotional wounds of war. Save the Children has been a lifeline for families fleeing violence in Syria, Venezuela, Myanmar and dozens of other crises around the world.
Tickets for the show are available now on Eventbrite. Don’t miss your chance to see these local legends live in concert before they blow up!
