New York City-based photographer and multi-talented musical artist Sarah James has performed as an instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer for nearly five decades. She has dedicated her photography to documenting Lower East Side Manhattan’s one-of-a-kind street art before these images are lost forever to the city government’s sanitation efforts or layered over by other graffiti artists.
