Norman is a comedy/drama following the adventures of New York shyster Norman Oppenheimer, an opportunistic business consultant who happens to meet the future Israeli prime minister.
The movie was praised for its character study and directorial prowess, with Ann Hornaday of The Washington Post saying: “Combining the dry wit of a latter-day Woody Allen with a canny eye for reflective and layered surfaces, Cedar [director] creates two utterly credible worlds: the one in which Norman operates, and the brick-and-mortar reality in which everyone else is trying to make their own way.”
