The event will take place June 1-3, 2018, and is the biggest Mopar show in the upper Midwest. Organized by volunteers and members of the Midwest Mopars Car Club, this year’s highlight is the presence of Catherine Bach, the Daisy Duke from the TV show, ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’. The Southern belle may act naïve, but in her Plymouth Road Runner and later in her jeep, she can put on a chase like no other.
The Plymouth Roadrunner is just one of the wild beauties that feature on the ‘Legends of 1968’ T-shirts and merchandise, which also includes posters, wallpapers, hoodies and mobile phone covers. The other four mopars are the 1968 Super Stock Barracuda, Dodge Coronet/Superbee, Dodge Charger and the Super Stock Dart. The last edition of Midwest Mopars in the Park saw over 9,000 spectators take a trip down memory lane, with 1,469 cars on display, and over 150 swap and vendor spaces. Awards are based on voting and not judged by judge panels. The Club was incepted in 1985 and draws in all mopar enthusiasts.
