Hosted by the ARHG Foundation, the third annual Festival of FUN is an exciting community event set to take place on March 1, 2025, at the UOW University BIG Hall in Wollongong, Australia. This vibrant festival is open to everyone, with a special focus on individuals with disabilities, their families, friends, carers, and guardians.

Foster Inclusivity & Connection

The Festival of FUN has been carefully designed to foster inclusivity, joy, and connection for people of all different ability levels, as well as those who love them.

As an attendee at the event, you can expect a day filled with live entertainment from some of Australia’s most talented performers, interactive activities, and opportunities to engage with a wide range of service providers. These activities are crafted to encourage exploration, interaction, learning, and community building in an environment that welcomes and celebrates diversity.

Celebrate Community

Founder and Director David "Macca" McFarland says, "I've been in the disability space as a volunteer for over 25 years and what we've found is that there are no events like this especially for families, so we wanted to make an event where we brought everyone together. I've got so many friends and family with a disability and what actually happens at the Festival of FUN is you become part of the family."

The festival is fully accessible and will feature live performances by artists - both with and without disabilities - showcasing the creativity and talent of people across the community. Attendees will enjoy a range of inclusive entertainment options, like a petting zoo and sports events, and also have a chance to discover additional resources that can facilitate care and assist with helping individuals with disabilities to lead more fulfilling lives.
